Our Story

Verve Textiles by Universal Overseas Ltd. is a design-led textile company based in New Delhi, India, specializing in the creation and export of high-quality home furnishings, fashion fabrics, and lifestyle textiles. With a presence in 25+ countries—including key markets across Europe, the USA, Australia, and beyond—we are a trusted partner to discerning brands and buyers worldwide.

A unit of Universal Overseas Limited (est. 1981), founded by Mr. Pramod Shah, Verve was established in 2002 to bring a fresh, contemporary perspective to India’s deeply rooted textile heritage. The company is presently led by its directors — Mrs. Preeti Shah, Mr. Anurag Shah, and Ms. Neha Shah.

We began with silk fabrics and their made-ups (finished home products), and have since evolved into a versatile producer offering a broad spectrum of constructions and techniques: traditional hand-woven and hand-embroidered silks; contemporary textured yarn-dyeds; prints; jacquards; dobbies; machine embroideries; and an extensive range of polyester and linen fabrics suited to diverse end uses.

At Verve, every fabric starts with an idea. Our in-house design team translates that idea into detailed artwork, engineered repeats, and thoughtful palettes. From there, our production and quality specialists bring the concept to life—specifying the right base, technique, and finish; monitoring every stage with exacting standards; and ensuring consistency from sampling to bulk. The result is fabric that balances beauty, durability, and timeless appeal.
